Description

These Smoked Honey-Garlic Ribs are the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and smoky flavors. The ribs are rubbed with a blend of seasonings, then slow-smoked to tender perfection and brushed with a sticky, honey-garlic glaze for an irresistible finish.

Ingredients

– 2 racks pork baby back ribs

– 2 tablespoons brown sugar

– 2 teaspoons smoked paprika

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1/2 cup honey

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

1. Preheat your smoker or grill to 225°F (110°C).

2. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the pork ribs, ensuring to coat them evenly.

3. Place the ribs on the smoker or grill grates and smoke for 2-3 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the internal temperature reaches 195-205°F (91-96°C).

4. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, garlic, and soy sauce. Heat over medium, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is heated through and the flavors have melded, about 5 minutes.

5. Brush the honey-garlic glaze generously over the smoked ribs, making sure to coat them completely.

6. Continue to smoke the ribs for an additional 30 minutes, or until the glaze has caramelized and the ribs are sticky and shiny.

7. Remove the ribs from the smoker or grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes.

8. Cut the racks into individual ribs and serve immediately, with any remaining glaze drizzled over the top.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a few wood chips (such as apple or hickory) to your smoker or grill. The ribs can also be baked in the oven instead of smoked, although the smoking process will give them a deeper, more complex flavor.
