Description

These Spinach Artichoke Swirls are a quick and easy appetizer that’s bursting with creamy, cheesy flavor. Featuring a buttery pastry dough wrapped around a savory spinach and artichoke filling, they’re perfect for parties, game days, or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

– 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

– 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

– 1 clove garlic, minced

– 1/4 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. – In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, Parmesan, spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.

3. – Unfold the puff pastry sheet and roll it out slightly to a 12×9-inch rectangle.

4. – Spread the spinach artichoke filling evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1/2-inch border.

5. – Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the pastry like a jelly roll.

6. – Slice the roll into 12 equal pieces and place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

7. – Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.

8. – Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

– For an extra creamy filling, add a splash of heavy cream or milk to the spinach artichoke mixture.

– Experiment with different cheese blends like mozzarella or cheddar.

– These swirls can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
