Ingredients
– 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
– 1 bottle champagne or sparkling wine, chilled
– 1 quart vanilla ice cream
Instructions
1. Place 2-3 scoops of vanilla ice cream into each of 4 champagne flutes or tall glasses.
2. Slowly pour chilled champagne or sparkling wine over the ice cream, allowing it to foam up.
3. Garnish each float with sliced fresh strawberries.
4. Serve immediately and enjoy the effervescent, boozy delight!
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the champagne with chilled club soda or ginger ale. You can also use different fruit, like raspberries or blackberries, in place of the strawberries.
