Description

Indulge in the rich and creamy flavors of this Stuffed Mushroom Dip. This appetizer is perfect for any occasion, from game day to holiday gatherings. The combination of sautéed mushrooms, cream cheese, and a blend of savory spices creates a truly irresistible dip that will have your guests coming back for more.

Ingredients

– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup sour cream

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 1 pound mushrooms, finely chopped

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 teaspoon dried thyme

– 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

– Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a large skillet, sauté the chopped mushrooms over medium-high heat until they release their moisture and become lightly browned, about 8-10 minutes.

3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.

4. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until well incorporated.

5. Stir in the sautéed mushrooms, Parmesan cheese, dried thyme, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

6. Transfer the mushroom dip mixture to a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.

7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and the dip is bubbly.

8. Serve the Stuffed Mushroom Dip warm, with your favorite crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

For a richer and creamier dip, you can use a blend of different types of mushrooms, such as cremini, shiitake, and oyster. You can also add a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese on top before baking for an extra cheesy twist.
