Description

Indulge in the classic flavors of Thanksgiving with this easy and irresistible Stuffing Recipe. Tender bread cubes, aromatic vegetables, and a blend of savory herbs come together in a comforting and satisfying side dish that’s perfect for your holiday feast.

Ingredients

– 8 cups cubed bread

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 celery stalks, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter

– 1 tablespoon dried sage

– 1 tablespoon dried thyme

– 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. – In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and celery, and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until softened.

3. – Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.

4. – Transfer the sautéed vegetables to a large mixing bowl. Add the cubed bread, dried sage, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.

5. – Gradually pour in the broth, mixing gently until the bread is lightly moistened.

6. – Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

7. – Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

8. – Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use day-old bread or allow the cubed bread to dry out for a few hours before assembling the stuffing. You can also add diced apples, cranberries, or chopped nuts for extra texture and flavor.
